Will Dating at Namimori Middle School Get Me Killed?

[Inline comments are open 😋] Fuyuno Jin discovers that Hibari, the classmate everyone is terrified of, seems to have started keeping an eye on her lately. Their eyes always meet when she turns her head by chance. Their shadows fall one after the other on the way home. They even drink the same brand of soda at their desks. At first, she thinks it's just coincidence, but… No matter where she takes a nap, when she rubs her eyes awake, he's always somewhere nearby; The stray cats she's befriended at school have started showing up around him from time to time; When she sees him buying mints at a convenience store, the same candy appears in her desk the next day. Is it really just a coincidence? Fuyuno Jin grows more and more confused. Finally, after receiving a whole box of precious imported chocolates, she can't help asking him: “Hibari… do you want to be in a romantic relationship with me?” He gives a brief “yes,” though his expression doesn't change. He may always wear a cold expression, but he's undeniably handsome, so Fuyuno Jin thinks it over, steps closer, and rises onto her toes to kiss his cheek. Then, to her surprise, she sees the tips of his ears turn red. And just like that, she and Hibari Kyoya start dating. * One day after they get together, Fuyuno Jin suddenly remembers a question and pokes him. “Does dating count as a gathering, Chairman?” Hibari Kyoya is unusually slow to respond. After a long pause, he calmly takes her hand and squeezes it. “…Not when it's with me.” Reading guide: · Lots of alternate-universe details, and the characters will definitely be out of character.
