I Own a Medicinal Herb Shop

Xue Yue Bai, a miserable clinical medicine student studying traditional Chinese medicine, transmigrates to a small town called Qianzhou.

Not only did Xue Yue Bai lose her father at a young age and get dumped by her fiance, she also has a "good-for-nothing" younger brother and a mother who can't make up her mind.

Xue Yue Bai is relieved that at least she has a house to live in.

What? The deed to the house was used as collateral too? Now she has to buy it back!

She steels herself and sets out to revive her late father's herbal medicine shop.

Qianzhou is an important transport hub, prosperous and bountiful, with a lively entertainment scene too.

One day, Xue Guangsi, Xue Yue Bai's good-for-nothing younger brother, goes to deliver medicine in "Pear Blossom Alley" and unexpectedly sees his older sister.

Xue Guangsi: Big Sis? What are you doing here?

Xue Yue Bai: I'm here to deliver medicine. I'm not out fooling around!

Xue Guangsi: Then what about all that food on the table?

Xue Yue Bai: Those are leftovers from the customers.

Xue Guangsi: And the beautiful young woman in your arms?

Xue Yue Bai: Oh! I'm treating her.

Xue Guangsi: ...

Who says women can't visit places of pleasure? Who wouldn't want to take a second look at a pretty young lady? Xue Guangsi is allowed to flirt with the clinic's resident doctor, but she's not allowed to go to "Pear Blossom Alley"?

Family squabbles, friendly neighbors, and a simple, peaceful life. Xue Yue Bai suddenly feels that spending the rest of her life in Qianzhou, living simply and peacefully, might be a pretty good choice.

[Set in a fictional world. The traditional Chinese medicine knowledge is based on real sources, but don't try to imitate it. If you're sick, go see a qualified doctor~]
