Endless labyrinths descend upon the world, ushering in a new energy industry: labyrinth energy.
Companies from around the world enter the competition, and young people of the new era join the industry in droves.
Ji Li, a new employee in the labyrinth logistics department at Huayou Corporation, discovers he really does have a bit of good luck.
The labyrinth cubes he processes always yield double the energy.
Equipment cubes always yield top-quality gear.
Item cubes always yield useful items.
The results still depend on each cube's quality, but the veterans in the combat division fight with everything they've got.
Even with the Global Eight-Corporation Alliance shutting them out, the veterans keep fighting twice as hard, working to bring back more cubes.
Ji Li works even harder at processing them, hoping to do more to support the veterans.
Of course, Ji Li works especially hard when processing cubes for one particular senior.
Zhao Wu was transferred to the logistics department more than a year ago after being injured. A new recruit recently arrived with a bit of luck, and he's made the department noisy every day.
Department member: Boss, we got two energy cubes that doubled today.
Zhao Wu: Hmm. Good luck, but you can't rely on luck forever. We still need to build up our strength.
Department member: Boss, Ji Li got another Level II mechanical arm! Your hand might be treatable after all.
Zhao Wu: Good luck, but we're still a long way off.
Department member: Wow, we got a Black Dragon Eye today! Boss, your eye...
Zhao Wu: Good, but there's no need to waste it on me.
Department member: It's the Ghost King Armor! Boss, your body can be repaired too.
Zhao Wu: ...
Department member: Boss...
Zhao Wu: No need to say another word. Help me up so I can try it first!
That day, Huayou's God of War returned to the labyrinth world. Seeing the warrior's rebuilt body, the Global Eight-Corporation Alliance remembered the terror of being dominated by a one-man army.
Theme: A tribute to hard workers. Everyone can shine and contribute along the road to a better future.
