After Ling Qiuqiu dies, she gets bound to a Bootlicker System.
Other people's missions are all about helping the protagonist save the world and making everyone love her.
But to be a good bootlicker, she has to be at the male lead's beck and call, day or night, rain or shine, through thunder and lightning.
Everyone hates her. Everyone despises her.
But it doesn't matter. The people who hate her are all fictional characters. Once she's completed her missions in all four worlds, she'll take her rewards, a fortune, a mansion, and a resurrection card, and return to the real world to live it up.
Everything goes smoothly at first. Ling Qiuqiu's bootlicker persona is so convincing that the male leads all think she's madly in love with them. After completing each world's mission, Ling Qiuqiu immediately fakes her death and leaves.
Then one day, the System suddenly glitches...
A time-space disturbance brings all four male leads before Ling Qiuqiu at once. Their eyes red, they ask in unison, "Why did you leave me?!"
*
Cool, chaste Male Lead Number One: "You said you only loved me."
Tsundere younger Male Lead Number Two: "If you dare leave with someone else, I'll kill you!"
Gentle, venomous Male Lead Number Three: "The last person who betrayed me was made into a human-skin lantern and sent flying."
Clingy, silly Male Lead Number Four: "Waaah, if you don't love me, I'll just go die!"
