When an Assassin Enters a Harem Novel

Tao Taozi is an assassin, a guy who's coldblooded and merciless as hell.

On the day of his first mission as an adult, he transmigrates into a harem novel and becomes a minor cannon-fodder character.

The cannon fodder is just a random passerby mentioned in passing, someone who happens to be near the story's heartthrob.

There's nonstop melodrama all around the heartthrob, and Tao Taozi has nothing in common with any of it.

One time, he walks past one of their dramatic scenes and accidentally bumps into the heartthrob.

Suddenly, heat surges through his body. His waist aches, his legs go weak, and he can't help letting out a little moan.

*

There's a top student and campus heartthrob at school.

He's gentle and beautiful, yet impossibly distant, like a dream just out of reach.

Until one day, the dream shatters.

*

Later, the admirers who used to flock around the heartthrob all shift their attention elsewhere.

Even the aloof, chaste heartthrob often gives him a lingering look.

Tao Taozi...

Tao Taozi is busy fighting the evil forces inside his body...

*

Later still, the heartthrob drops his disguise, pins him against a wall, and fixes him with dark eyes that seem to be plotting something.

He gazes at him intently. "You've succeeded in seducing me."

Tao Taozi: ?

Tao Taozi: I'm going to kill you.

◆ The protagonist is a heartthrob. The reason has to do with his body and will be explained later.

◆ There are many one-sided crushes along the way, but the ending is one-on-one.
