Guan Xu was an orphan who grew up in an orphanage. In the dark memories of his childhood, there was a beautiful young boy who helped him through so much. He was the moonlight in Guan Xu's heart.

So Guan Xu began pursuing Dai Lingyun in middle school, followed him through high school and into university, and spent eight years as his devoted, lovesick puppy.

Then one night in his junior year, Guan Xu overheard Dai Lingyun talking on the phone with someone else.

"Bro, I'll be back later." The boy raised his handsome brows and spoke nonchalantly. "Me and him? Don't worry, of course I'm just pretending. It was only a bet I made with Gong Rui and the others. Think about it." He found it funnier the longer he talked. "Why else would I ever date some poor kid?"

Guan Xu felt a chill run through him, and his heart sank to the bottom.

He had no idea how he got home.

After that, Guan Xu and Dai Lingyun had a furious argument. Dai Lingyun had never been on the receiving end of Guan Xu's anger before. He yelled at Guan Xu, then stormed out.

But as soon as he left, he got into an accident. A large truck came barreling toward him. Dai Lingyun's face went white, and for a moment he forgot to move.

Then a warm body shoved him aside. It was the same strong, powerful arm as before.

He watched Guan Xu get flung several meters, blood pouring from his mouth.

Dai Lingyun crawled over in tears and grabbed Guan Xu's hand.

But Guan Xu said, "Yunyun, I want to let you go. I don't love you anymore."

Guan Xu closed his eyes.

But he didn't die. Instead, he transmigrated into a book.

He became the protagonist of a modern danmei novel. The protagonist had the same name as him, and even looked exactly the same.

Guan Xu had never read the book and didn't care. His heart was dead.

After Guan Xu died, Dai Lingyun was consumed by grief and nearly wanted to die with him. Then a System found him.

System: "Guan Xu isn't dead. He transmigrated into a book and became its protagonist. In the future, he'll encounter three men: one will torment his heart and body, one will destroy his family, and one will make him fall in love before abandoning him."

So Dai Lingyun made a deal with the System and transmigrated into the book himself.

Later, the once delicate, beautiful boy became a tall, handsome man with an imposing presence, a head taller than Guan Xu and with two more abs.

Guan Xu was stunned. "Yunyun, how did you end up like this?"

Dai Lingyun hugged him tightly and gritted his teeth. "Don't even think about leaving me again."
