The Top-Tier Star Suddenly Became My Darling Son

If the hottest top-tier star of the moment appeared before you one day and claimed he was your biological son from the future, how would you react? A joke? A prank variety show? Or... Newcomer Tong Yinian had just entered the entertainment industry. She thought for a second, then asked the question she cared about most: "Will I still have hair then?" Lin Muqi was about to take out a paternity test. He froze, then answered blankly, "...Yes, and it's still really thick." Tong Yinian smiled. "From today on, you're my precious boy!" Lin Muqi: ??? She believed him that easily? What was the point of all the explanations and evidence he'd stayed up all night preparing! Rising star Tong Yinian quickly made a name for herself. Rumors swirled that top-tier star Lin Muqi was backing her, and that the two had been dating for a long time. Not long after, an exposé hit the trending topics. Their antis went wild: "Dating? That's putting it too mildly. I say she's sleeping her way to the top." Their ship fans celebrated: "Ahhh! My ship is real! I knew they looked like a married couple! They're so in sync, even their little gestures are the same!" Lin Muqi's fans: "She's not famous, but she sure loves clout-chasing." Tong Yinian's fans: "Don't drag us into this. Our girl only cares about her career." Soon, Tong Yinian liked a post from her own fan and posted: Meet my precious boy, @Lin Muqi. Lin Muqi promptly replied: Mom, @Tong Yinian, you've finally agreed to make our relationship public! Antis: "...I don't know what to make of this." Ship fans: "...Do lovers end up as mother and son now?" Both fandoms tried their best to spin it. Tong Yinian's fans: "Our Yinian just happens to be older in the family tree... maybe." Lin Muqi's fans: "A mother and son pairing is... not bad, I guess. It makes up for our brother's lack of motherly love... probably." Random netizens: "...I don't understand, but I'm deeply shaken."
