Even a Good-for-Nothing Heroine Gets Her Spring

Goal: Challenge myself to write an unlikeable heroine, and finish a contemporary drama within 200,000 words. The outline is as follows: The protagonist is an utterly ordinary office worker in her thirties. She's timid and bad at socializing. On a dating app, she thinks she's met a CEO who drives a Maybach. She believes everything the woman tells her and goes to a hotel with her. The CEO wants to stay at the Park Hyatt, but makes the protagonist pay upfront. After scouring apps, the protagonist manages to save just 100 yuan. The CEO insists on a 1,699-yuan Wellington steak dinner, which the protagonist pays for with her Huabei account. The CEO claims her black card has been locked after a cross-border payment. The protagonist gets nothing out of sleeping with her, then discovers the CEO mocked her on WeChat Moments, saying she'd hooked up with a boring old woman. When she realizes she's been scammed, she doesn't dare do anything about it and can only blame herself. Then she meets a real younger CEO, but thinks he's trying to scam her, too. Several times, she says, "I really don't have any money left to give you. Please leave me alone." The real younger CEO sends her money, and she says, "Would a scammer gang really invest that much just to scam a poor person?" The real younger CEO invites her to dinner. She doesn't dare order much and only eats a couple of bites. She excuses herself to go to the bathroom and pays the bill. Still hungry, she cries as she goes to Shaxian to order a fragrant mixed noodle dish. Realizing she's fallen for it again, she cries and asks the owner for another bowl of wontons. The younger CEO can only admit, "I've got a thing for older women. I like useless, pathetic, unlucky, ordinary older sisters like you." The protagonist: ??????? Theme: As long as life's setbacks don't defeat you, you always have a chance to stand back up
