What’s it like to have The Sims simulated in a superhero world?
Prell: Thanks for asking. I’m in New York, and I woke up in a different map with The Sims installed in my brain. Now I’ve got a needs bar. I can understand starving to death if I don’t eat, but apparently I can also die if I don’t have fun or socialize! The appliances at home keep breaking down and spewing black smoke, and even doing laundry can start a fire. I can’t cut corners when I walk, and furniture can only be placed on a grid... And one more thing! If you’re face-blind and bad with your hands, don’t mess around with character creation! It’ll cause serious problems!!

Prell Wan was an ordinary Sims player. The night before, he’d just built a new house in the game. Then he opened his eyes and found himself living in it.
The Sims game he’d played before bed had been installed in his brain, which sounds great, right? Unfortunately, the life being simulated was his own. People can go a few days without fun or socializing, but Sims who don’t interact with anyone kick the bucket.
His original relationships were all still there, except... Are “supervillains” who blow things up everywhere and “superheroes” who fly through the sky and swing across rooftops also part of the Sims experience?!
He seriously doubted he’d last more than a few days in this world with its weird expansion pack!

1. No outline and no chapters stockpiled. I’m writing for fun, so updates are whenever I feel like it, and I really mean whenever!
2. The System is basically based on The Sims 4, but with some changes.
