But instead of dealing with the urgent matter of saving the world, the app only wants Peter to study hard:
“Please complete 1,500 minutes of independent study after school. Reward...”
“As a student, your most important task right now is to study hard. Please do your best to earn an A in every subject on your final exams this semester! Reward...”
On top of that, the app finds Peter one study partner after another:
A teenage boy whose big account is always losing money and never seems to catch a break, a Robin who ran away to New York after a disagreement, a future Green Goblin he met by chance during a kidnapping, an older brother and sister who were abducted and brainwashed by a terrorist organization and fell behind in their studies, an artificial life-form with an adult body but a child's mind...
Watching the world grow increasingly dangerous, Peter resolutely pulled out his textbooks.
