Life Blows By Like the Wind

Since you're here, why not set aside the troubles of the outside world and quietly savor life's little details, such as process and outcome; choice and numbness; chance and inevitability, and all the other worries that entangle us.

I posted part of this story two years ago under a different ID. Later, my computer's hard drive broke and I lost several chapters. I was devastated, and even after the computer was fixed, my writing nearly came to a standstill. I've only just finished it now.

In this story, a wandering immortal from a virtual online world searches for a successor to lead the way, bringing together twelve short stories. Each story is connected to the others, yet stands on its own. You can start reading from any chapter. If anything moves you enough to make you stop and think, that would be the greatest support I could ask for.

I hope to get this published as a book. It's my greatest wish. I've done my best; what happens next is up to fate.

This is the order of life.
