I wrote this to remember those who have been taken from me by cancer, or who will be taken from me, and to fulfill the childhood wish I could never realize: having an older brother.
From the very beginning, the story makes clear that it will not have a happy ending. It is sorrowful and real. It comes from a part of my life, and it is about to take away a group of people who are part of my life.
So I wrote this book for them, and to give myself the courage to say that I left something behind.
I hope we will meet again someday.
