Blurb One: Marquis of Jing'an Yu Zhongshu has two great regrets in his life. First, his first wife was heartless. When he decided to take another wife on equal footing with her, she asked to divorce him of her own accord, leaving him condemned by everyone as an unkind and unjust man. Second, the daughter he raised by his side and cherished as dearly as a pearl, the daughter his wife, a commandery princess, loved just as much, was not of the Yu family’s blood.
What enraged him even more was the choice made by the biological daughter he brought back from among the common people. Not only did she ignore him, her powerful and influential father, but she also stood resolutely by her mother, his first wife.
Yu Zhongshu was certain that without his protection, his first wife and biological daughter would one day regret their choice and come weeping to beg him for help.
He never imagined that the new Earl of Jiyuan, summoned to the capital by the emperor himself, would be that very daughter he had assumed was destined for a wretched life. Even more unbelievable, the daughter rumored to be disfigured was breathtakingly beautiful, and his first wife, who had already become a haggard old woman by the time they divorced, was still graceful, intelligent, and beautiful...
Blurb Two:
The true daughter who had been lost as a child from Grand Academician Yu’s household has been found. Compared with the beautiful, refined, and well-educated impostor, the true daughter has never gone to school, is disfigured, and is an ignorant woman cast aside by her husband.
People assume that even if she is the real daughter, what does it matter? Having brought shame upon the Yu family, she is bound to be despised and live out her days alone and miserable...
The extreme Little Ice Age not only brought the Great Shun dynasty to an end, it also changed the nature of countless plants:
Peonies lost their former splendor, and their famed beauty could now only be sought in old books. Sweet fruit became hard to find, and delicious dishes were reduced to legend...
Fortunately, a mysterious master appeared out of nowhere. The garden tended by the master bloomed in a riot of color, and the fruit she cultivated was as sweet as syrup. The wealthy considered it an honor to obtain a single flower from her, while the great clans took pride in tasting just one of her fruits...
Yu Xiuxiu, a plant-powered ability user who had transmigrated here, and a divorced woman: Would you like to see the golden and purple peonies? Want to taste lychees as translucent as silk and sweet as syrup?
The onlookers who had been waiting to laugh at the true daughter were left dumbfounded as they watched the woman destined for a tragic life first transform into a breathtaking beauty, then single-handedly create a happy marriage everyone envied...
Now serializing: My Little Daughter, the Short-Lived Youngest Child of a 1970s Tycoon, Has Returned:
When Shi Ying woke up, she had become the long-deceased youngest daughter of the richest man in Zhongxia.
The tycoon was immensely wealthy yet pure-hearted. Though praised throughout the land, he lived a lonely life, and it was all directly connected to his youngest daughter:
When she drowned at the age of twenty-seven, his wife was so overcome with grief that she fell into depression and eventually passed away. His son was so devastated that he shut himself away...
As she read the tycoon's biography, Shi Ying's eyes filled with tears. But after wiping them with a tissue, she looked on in horror as her adult body suddenly shrank into a child's. She was no longer in her spacious apartment, but in a cramped, dark hut with a low thatched roof.
She lay on a bed of scattered straw, with a huge pile of dirty clothes beside her. Even more unbelievable, on her wrist was a pink cherry blossom birthmark identical to the one the tycoon had said his daughter bore...
Coming Soon 1: The True Daughter Is Delicate and Charming:
Reborn, Lin Yuening returned to the eve of the day her parents arranged for her to marry an old widower as his second wife. At last, she understood the real reason she could never win their approval, no matter how well she behaved:
She was not their biological daughter. The Ning'an Earl, the most prominent member of the clan, was her real father.
The thing Ning'an Earl craved most in life was other people's sweet, darling little girls. But fate had other plans: six noisy boys arrived one after another at his estate, and not one little girl.
Just as the earl had given up hope and resigned himself to the miserable fate of never having a daughter, he found the girl who had been switched by his clansmen fifteen years ago.
Overjoyed, Ning'an Earl went to the ancestral hall to inform his ancestors: At last, he had a daughter! They say daughters take after their fathers. Little Ningning was clearly a child of their house, so dignified and imposing!
The news sent shockwaves through the great clans and wealthy families:
Ning'an Earl was as tall as a tower, with a face black as a demon's. It was hard to imagine how horrifying his daughter would look with those features.
Days later, when the captivatingly beautiful Lin Yuening appeared in public, everyone thought: What the hell do they mean, daughters take after their fathers? Ning'an Earl, you led us astray!
Coming Soon 2: I Am the Big Shot's Deceased White Moonlight:
The nouveau riche Xie family unexpectedly found their precious daughter Xie Nuan, who had been missing for nineteen years. To make up for the hardships she had endured, the family poured all its wealth into spoiling their youngest daughter. Before long, stories about the Xie family's girl were everywhere in high society:
She's useless at everything, eats everything in sight, and is number one at causing trouble. People nicknamed her the "pretty vase," and she really is nothing but a good-for-nothing.
What no one could understand was how such a beautiful but rotten-at-the-core human vase could possibly have the charm to make even that terrifying big shot obey her every command.
Xie Nuan...
After completing a hundred quick transmigration missions, she had finally made it back. All she wanted was to eat, loaf around, and wait to die. Who had she ever bothered?
And you, that obsessive super big shot, why are you following me? You must have the wrong person. I'm just a useless rich kid who wants to eat and wait to die, not some long-dead white moonlight you've been pining for.
Theme: Stay positive and keep moving forward.
Ah! That's it! At least a side story, right? It feels like it was forced to end
The author's writing skills need to be improved. Every time the ending is very rushed, I hope the next book can improve it!
That's it? Where is the black hand behind it?
Ha?? Is this the end?
Great, although it doesn't look very common sense, and it doesn't focus on intrigues or foreign invasion, but it looks very comfortable.
(Non-writing guide) I don't know if the author has noticed that there are too many negative comments from the supporting characters, and they basically write negatives before being shocked~ There are few dialogues between the characters, and up to this chapter of the whole film (there are still a few chapters to go), the inner description accounts for 3/5... Take the fact that the heroine is a noble official, and towards the end, some people are still in disbelief~
I finished reading it in one day. I can't bear to leave it. I hope there will be a sequel.
I really want to watch the extra episode...
King Jing is just a tool man!
I didn't order all of them. I jumped to the last three pictures after the heroine decided to be the prefect. I wanted to read the ending, but the ending was nothing new. The hero has always been like a tool. Some of the author's settings are good, but when writing, it feels like I just write whatever comes to my mind. I really can't complain about anything else. As for the villain's fate, it really could use a I brought a pen to describe it, and even in the end nothing happened to the prince and his wife. One of them just fainted, and the other just blamed himself and had no face to face it. The reader thought that this plot should be a good story, but the result was not good at all. If other books can solve the problem of food and drink for the entire country, then she cannot be an empress. In the end, everything that the heroine has grown has been given away directly, and it feels aggrieved.
