I'm Sick, But I'm Faking It

1. Shen Yanhui had been unconscious for months. When he woke up, he learned he had a wife. The old master said her family had fallen on hard times, and that she was a cultured, gentle, and tender young woman. By day, Song Ci was as obedient as a marionette, stiff and dull. Shen Yanhui didn't want to hold her back, and he'd never cared for women who had nothing to offer beyond obedience. He planned to give her some money and set her free. But one night, after the young woman finished wiping his face, she lay down beside him and began sobbing. Just as Shen Yanhui was so moved by her sincerity that he was about to open his eyes and comfort her, he suddenly heard her choked voice. "Sob, sob, husband, how could you get better? If you do, you'll find out I used your hand to test my nail polish. And I want to inherit your estate and live the high life..." Shen Yanhui: ??? 2. The house was packed with people offering their congratulations on the day Shen Yanhui recovered, but his wife was nowhere to be seen. That night, he had his assistant call her dozens of times to bring her home. When Song Ci came in, Shen Yanhui pretended to be weak and leaned against the headboard. "If you're feeling unwell, Mr. Shen, you should call a doctor." Song Ci sat down beside the bed and handed him the divorce papers, already signed. "Transfer the money to my account within a week. Once I receive it, I won't bother you again." Song Ci had only been brought in by the old master to look after him. Now that Shen Yanhui had recovered, she should be happy to take the money and leave. But Shen Yanhui pulled her into his arms. "Can we not get divorced? You're the only one who can cure me." Theme: .
