Mecha Pilot: Preview

[This project has been changed to a preview! The full story is next door.] [Ahhh! I accidentally opened this pre-release page!!!] Xie Yi was unlucky enough to transmigrate into a melodramatic interstellar ABO novel about a scumbag top facing a painful road to redemption. Luckily, he became the beta older brother of the protagonist bottom, so he had no extra organs to worry about. The beta older brother was the original fiancé of the scumbag alpha top, arranged by their families before birth. But because their genders weren’t compatible, the engagement was passed on to his omega younger brother. In the original story, the older brother was the original’s idealized first love in the younger brother’s many storylines about being mistreated. After the top came to his senses, the older brother was the first to enter the “road to redemption,” meaning he was so heartbroken after being dumped that he piloted a mech into the Zerg and blew himself up along with them. Xie Yi, after reading the original story: [old man staring at phone.jpg] I’m out of here. If I can pilot a mech, why get tangled up in this mess? Xie Yi turned around and changed his application. He switched from the military academy near home, the same one the scumbag top attended, to another equally prestigious school and got out of there as fast as he could. Ji Huaisheng was the top dog at Imperial Military Academy. His attendance was always ranked last, but his combat ranking was always first. A few months into the new students’ first year, he discovered that someone had matched his perfect training score, despite having skipped class for half a semester. The spectators were all waiting to see when the two of them would fight it out and decide who was better. But a month later, when they finally arranged a match, they went through their usual pre-fight trash talk. Ji Huaisheng: “Dating or fighting. Pick one.” Xie Yi: “Only kids have to choose. Adults obviously pick fighting!” Theme: Strive to realize your own worth.
