The story will be available for purchase at midnight on March 20, with a 10,000-word chapter release
Also known as "There Are No Poor People in This World. Spend Enough Money, and You'll Naturally Become Poor"
My name is Xiao Gao, because that's what everyone calls me. My full name isn't important, and Xiao Gao sounds cute, doesn't it?
My family is very simple: I have an older brother I almost never see, and an older sister I took in later.
My brother works in a very dangerous field. Judging by all the razor blades that occasionally arrived at our house when I was a kid, he was either stirring up trouble or working as a heartless author. After all, authors with a conscience don't get sent this many razor blades.
My "older sister" is currently working hard to become a proper idol.
Besides going to school every day, I have to work several part-time jobs to keep up with my extravagant expenses.
Yokohama, Kyoto, Ikebukuro, Hakata...
Delivery worker, fighting expert, hacker, doctor...
As everyone knows, there's a limit to how much one person can earn. But you can work as many part-time jobs as you like, and with an ability as uniquely suited to the task as mine, you'd think I was born to work.
To make sure I earned the highest hourly wage possible, I always did market research before taking a part-time job. With everything planned out so carefully, my path to saving money should have been smooth sailing. But I never imagined that competition in this world would be everywhere...
A secret identity story, but not entirely a secret identity story.
P.S. The heroine is TaKa-chan. Her ability spends money from the bank accounts under her name according to the time and degree of use. Her ability lets her become different people, but she retains her own consciousness and simply gains their abilities.
This is a comedy with no real main plot and not much serious business. I'm always serious about writing ridiculous stories!
Because of the setting, I need to avoid quite a lot of details about a certain author. Whether you've read the source material or not doesn't matter. I'm only borrowing the ability concept.
This story includes Ikebukuro and Shinjuku information brokers, a cross-dressing retired assassin, Yokohama's human-shaped black mud, boys who play tennis, and two-dimensional gods, among others.
The worlds all merge together. You don't need to have read any of the source material to follow the story.
By the way, this is a very "serious" school story!
P.P.S. Things to note:
The worlds are mixed together, and the ideas are reworked.
There are lots of original settings, which I'll try to explain clearly.
The heroine is single, with no romance.
The values are upright, the looks are up to fate.
The secret identities are unstable and may be revealed at any time.
Regular daily updates, writing without pause.
Late-night overtime, and whether there's a stockpile of chapters is up to fate.
P.P.P.S.
Although I've read what happens after the Wild Dog arc, considering the author's wild moves and the fact that I have to include it for the original ability setup, let's just say I've only seen up to Season 3.
The merging of the worlds will change a lot of the original settings. I'll explain things one by one in the story.
My style has felt a little strange lately. This one has more everyday-life scenes and may feel like a light novel.
My other works:
The next one I want to write:
"To Build a Beautiful Yokohama, I Seem to Have to Download a Scam-Prevention App"
In short, it's a story about Chuuya, who was picked up by Rimbaud and Verlaine at birth and grew up in Paris. After returning to Yokohama, he wants to develop the Slums, but runs into a liar who can't tell the truth.
It's probably a construction story? If a single-fandom work can be paywalled, I'll start this one.
Extra blurb:
He once thought he'd met a quiet but helpful person with incredible abilities. According to his family, when you meet someone like that, you should grab them and make them your deputy. But who could have guessed...
Chuuya stared silently at the scam-prevention app he'd just downloaded.
Plenty of original settings, which I'll add later. In short, it's an alternate timeline based on the Rimbaud-and-Verlaine premise, where Chuuya returns to Yokohama to build his career.
In this timeline, the Ability War never happened. But the timeline corresponds to World War II, and Japan was opened to the outside world earlier, so Yokohama is still divided among competing factions.
The best part is that this alternate timeline basically makes all of ZW's settings alternate out of existence! Wonderful! That means any future backstabbing can just miss this story!
"God-Slaying Lessons from Scratch"
Fifty years ago, humanity stopped the gods from returning.
Fifty years later, the war between gods and humans is still raging.
When Anran was just old enough to understand things, she had the same dream as every other child. Basically, it was to make the coolest boasts and get into the most awesome fights.
Kids are allowed to be a little chuuni. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
Years later, she gave in to her ability...
Come here, you anonymous monster. Did you just drop this golden head, this silver head, or this battered head with a hole poked through it?
Monster: "Awooo! Awooo! Awooooo!"
Anran: "Okay, I understand. You greedy monster, you actually lied! Now I'm not giving you your original head back either!"
The headless monster: "I may not be human, but you're a real dog!"
Teammate: "So how did you understand what it said?"
Anran: "I didn't need to understand! You just have to get the gist of it!"
So your idea of understanding it is to assume it wants all of them, then keep its head for yourself?
Anran: "It's an ability. As long as it works, it's fine. Being shameless is nothing to be embarrassed about."
Just rambling: In short, it's set fifty years after the revival of mythology. It's an ensemble story. I'm always serious about writing friendships. The male lead will barely feature, and the romance will probably be practically nonexistent.
Besides traditional Chinese mythology, the second half will also involve other mythologies.
The heroine is clever and full of trash talk and memes. Her companions are just as eccentric and won't drag the team down.
(The reviewers are going wild. What exactly is the problem?)
Yes, in short, I'm trying to write two stories at once, each in a different style.
A story I update whenever I feel like it, supported by donations (I will always love the world of anime):
"The Good-for-Nothing Goddess's Gu-Raising Diary"
Chuuni and ridiculous, no outline or drafts, first-person narration, and logic takes flight.
In short, it's a little idea that came to me while walking. It had so many funny points that I wrote it down before I forgot. Just treat it like a short story.
This isn't part of my update schedule. Maybe I'll update it once a week?
There are loads of characters.
Basically, people from every world who never had a happy school childhood are suddenly brought together by a whimsical god and made to attend class in the same classroom.
Let's see who's the one with the worst education. Oh, turns out it's everyone.
Theme: A gentleman loves wealth, but acquires it by proper means
It's not easy to make Dazai pay back the money. Let him use his body to pay off the debt. Take the bounty and put the person in custody. After receiving the money, let Dazai run back. Anyway, everyone knows that Dazai is a slippery mackerel who never holds back. If he can catch it, it proves his strength. If he can't keep it, it only means that the person offering the reward is not good, or he can pick up some innocuous information on the black market and sell Dazai's information. Once the money is enough, he will stop it. This will also add a little fun to Dazai's boring life.
I originally thought that Conan wouldn't appear, but Shinichi was so desperate (shaking his head)
The hound has a little loli (gesture) who can control age (whisper)
Incredible, it must be Sigma. Sigma calls Xiao Gao sister. Could it be that Xiao Gao was also created by a book? ? ! !
Everything - can be fried
There is really no problem if the King of Nets is Gao Wu.

Hahahaha intangible heritage
