After My Nemesis and I Got Together

Shen Xihe and Ji Ziyan had been sworn enemies since childhood, unable to stand each other for over twenty years.

She disliked his precocious, cool-headed self-control.

He disliked her proud, reckless, dazzling flamboyance.

At school, she competed with him for the top spot in their grade, but he always beat her.

As adults, she competed with him in skill and earnings. Even when it came to dating and marriage, she had to find someone to compete with.

Just as word got out that Ji Ziyan was going on a blind date, Shen Xihe brought a boyfriend home.

She even made a big announcement that she was engaged.

That same day, someone saw Ji Ziyan, who was usually impossible to read, smash up his office.

But the good times didn't last. The fiancé Shen Xihe had chosen after careful consideration turned out to be a notorious womanizer.

His romantic scandals were soon known throughout the city.

After her heartbreak, Shen Xihe tried to drink her sorrows away, but got into a car accident on her way home.

With a mild concussion, she forgot a few things.

She never expected that the very next day, someone would rush back from out of town just to see her.

Ji Ziyan, who had always been indifferent to everything, showed a hint of anxiety in front of her for the first time.

She watched him calmly, curious to see what kind of trick he was up to.

To her surprise, the next moment she heard him say:

"Xihe, my name is Ji Ziyan. I'm your fiancé."

It was like a bolt from the blue.

Shen Xihe hesitated, then held out her hand too. "Well, then, fiancé, I look forward to getting along with you."
