How should Xiao Nuo describe her high school years? Everything revolved around one person: Fu Mingxuan.
Her clearest memory was of the sweltering summer of her senior year. Outside the gates of No. 4 High School, the roar of motorcycles filled the whole street. He took off his helmet, revealing a head of purple hair.
Later, she heard people say he was wild and unrestrained, a playboy with girls constantly flocking around him, never interested in any of them for more than a few days. He was an out-and-out jerk.

Until one day, at a gathering, a friend offered him a cigarette. He didn’t even glance at it, merely saying, "I quit."
At first, everyone thought Xiao Nuo had made him give up smoking. Only later did they learn that he was afraid his clothes would smell like smoke and his good girl at home wouldn’t like it.
Before long, news that Fu Mingxuan had won over the good girl spread through the school. Everyone thought Xiao Nuo had gone crazy. Some said Young Master Fu had changed his tastes, choosing a good girl this time. Others said a girl that sweet would be easy to fool.
But none of them knew that Fu Mingxuan was the one who took the bait first, and he was also the one who lowered his head and made the first move.
Including when he cut off contact completely.

Xiao Nuo slowly raised her eyelids, her expression cool. "That’s none of your business."
