Solving Cases Through On-Screen Comments in a Period Drama [Crime Investigation]

Chen Qianyi finds herself inside a hit TV drama set in the 1980s. The drama is full of sorrow and joy, and has viewers in tears. She is the third daughter of the Chen family. According to the synopsis, both her older sisters will meet tragic fates: the second sister will be brutally murdered, and the eldest will turn to crime.

And Chen Qianyi is a police academy intern.

As soon as she starts her internship at the police station, a serious serial murder case breaks out in the city. The whole department is tense and on edge.

When another victim is found, the chief flies into a rage and orders the criminal investigation team to solve the case within three days, or be replaced.

Then Chen Qianyi unexpectedly sees a barrage comment.

[The sixth victim is murdered in an alley on Chang'an Road...]

[Have some manners. Why are you spoiling the plot?]

That night, the police launch an emergency manhunt and capture the suspect.

Chen Qianyi is singled out for praise by the department for her outstanding work.

The barrage comments light up again.

[Qianyi is amazing. How did she solve the case?]

[No idea. She's way better than the main character.]

[Here it comes. Qianyi is about to explain her criminal profile to the police team.]

Chen Qianyi knows what will happen to her two sisters.

She has to change their fates. She can't give up.

At last, one day, the barrage lights up.

[Big moment ahead!]

[Brace yourself!]

Chen Qianyi has no idea what “big moment ahead” means.

Can she change her two sisters' lives?

In the summer of 2025, young city detective Kuang Chuan is sorting through old case files when he suddenly notices that one piece of information has changed:

In the serial murder case from over twenty years ago, the sixth victim in the Chang'an Road alley has miraculously survived!

He is astonished. He thinks of the period drama he has been watching. Could this have something to do with the TV show?

Unable to resist, he types a new comment into the barrage...
