This story was written with reference to the original novel A Dream Behind the Curtain, the TV adaptation A Dream Behind the Curtain, and the TV adaptation Another Dream Behind the Curtain. I originally planned to focus on putting Chu Lian through the wringer, but as I wrote, it turned into putting Lu Ping’s father and Shen Suixin through the wringer instead… Awkward… But Chu Lian will show up again later, and that guy won’t get off easy either… VIP notice: This story will go VIP on June 26 (tomorrow), with three chapters that day.
