Let's See About the System Switching Careers

Cong Sheng bonded with a System that claimed it could help her achieve her dreams. System: You must get revenge! Make everyone regret it! You're a rising star! Come on, let's make a comeback in showbiz and face-slap them all! Cong Sheng looked down at the open copy of the 53 practice book in front of her. "Oh, I just want to study and take the college entrance exam." System: Your future shines onstage! Cong Sheng: Oh, I just want to shine on my exam papers. System: I can help you become the brightest star of all! Cong Sheng: Oh, I'm not interested. The System burst into tears. "Please, I'm begging you! QAQ" Cong Sheng offered a suggestion. "You could switch to being a study System. I'd give you my full cooperation." System: But I'm a star-making System! Cong Sheng: I believe you can do it. System: I can't do that!!! Later... System: Land that endorsement and I'll borrow you a book from the interstellar library. Get cast in that TV series and I'll get you a one-week library pass. Get... Cong Sheng: Okay, I'm on it. Go borrow the book and get the pass. You'll hear good news from me in ten minutes. System: ... The most dazzling singer and dancer onstage, and the most skilled actor on screen, she was loved by millions. Her scientific achievements inspired even greater admiration than her singing and acting, and billions were grateful to her. System: I'm really just a star-making System... Cong Sheng: My acting fees aren't even enough to cover the cost of a few sets of reagents. Can't you provide me with a few lab mice for free? I need ones with specific genes knocked out. System: Win that major award and I'll go find you one at the interstellar laboratory. Cong Sheng: Okay. Three months. System: QAQ I really have gone off course. Heads-up: 1. The golden finger is a bit overpowered, and the female lead gets pretty strong buffs. 2. It's nonsense, with no logic. 3. I'm still not sure how I want to write this. I'll probably change some things once I start posting, but the core premise will stay the same. The heroine's name was the same as someone else's, so I changed it. I might change it again later. I'll decide when I start posting. Theme: Stay true to your dreams and your original aspirations, and persevere.
