Cut It Out, Heavenly Master!

(This story began with the idea: What if the Leader of Heaven-Connecting had transmigrated into the Primordial Heavenly Lord...)

Lu Li was a rogue cultivator lucky enough not to get caught up in the Investiture of the Gods, so he became an immortal without a hitch.

Not a deity, but an immortal.

After all... the Investiture of the Gods. Everyone knows how it goes: die, have your soul enshrined as a deity, and spend the rest of eternity doing unpaid labor for the Heavenly Court. Whoever wants that job can have it! Lu Li certainly doesn't.

Protected by powerful backers, Lu Li treats the decree forbidding contact between immortals and mortals as if it doesn't exist. So, one time when he descended to the mortal world, he finally ran into a tough one.

What? You want to know who's the toughest in the Three Realms?

That's hard to compare, and impossible to say. But there are plenty tougher than Lu Li.

...Well... he was just summoned by the Primordial Heavenly Lord to have a cup of tea, and that Heavenly Lord had merely been possessed by a certain sect leader... that's all...

After stumbling upon such a shocking secret, getting killed to silence him is just a matter of minutes...

(Lu Li gazes at the sky: Why did I come down here for a stroll...)

Pairing: Fang Yan x Lu Li

Fang Yan: Is there anything fun to do in the Immortal Realm?

Lu Li: ...Does getting treated to a meal by a nine-tailed celestial fox count?

Theme: Travelers speak of Yingzhou, but its misty waves make it hard to believe or find.
