[Investiture of the Gods Fanfiction] Song of the Immortal Cave

After the Battle of the Investiture of the Gods, the immortal and mortal realms were separated.

Twenty-five years is half a lifetime to a mortal.

But to an immortal, it is far too short.

The mortal world is at peace, but the Heavenly Court is rife with undercurrents.

Lu Wu has not the slightest interest in the affairs of the Heavenly Court. Give him a jug of wine, and he can sleep off a thousand years.

Who becomes the Celestial Emperor has nothing to do with him.

...If only it were that simple.

He has escaped the Five Phases, but failed to transcend the Three Realms. Such is the misfortune of immortal life.

Theme: Struggling against Heaven is endless fun.
