The One Favored by the Gods, 5T5

[New Story, Please Add to Your Favorites. A Blend of Taoist Arts and Magical Girls. I want to write about an unconventional Taoist sword immortal in flowing white robes, carrying a sword and drawing talismans, reading the stars through the Eight Trigrams, and mastering the Qimen Dunjia. A fake-leveling story, starting with an ordinary person who has just accidentally entered another world without realizing it, and only wants to return to China and save up money by working in Yokohama's Chinatown.] A young goddess, born of Heaven and Earth, who should have died on the day she came into being. Two boys who call themselves the strongest bring her back to their technical college, where she begins learning about emotions and how to be human. At last, one day, as she grows to love Heaven and Earth and her friends, she understands why one person is especially important to her. She stands before the silver-haired boy and confesses her feelings. The boy pats her head and grins smugly. "I told you I'm the big brother you like best, Sis, didn't I, Suguru?" Teenage Suguru: "..." [Can't bear to look.] Twenty-eight-year-old Satoru from a parallel timeline: "...Sure. That's my girl. Single because I earned it." I'm terrible at writing blurbs [face of anguish]. May 20: Third version of the blurb. [Things to keep in mind]: 1. If you're bothered by a protagonist who loves someone before being loved in return, feel free to skip this. 2. The protagonist is chaotic neutral. 3. If it's not a good fit, let's part on good terms and meet again if fate allows. I'll do better in my next story. 4. OOC warning. Lots of headcanon, and there may be... no research at all. Theme: Love means possession and fear of loss, but love also means letting go.
