The Taoist Arts Girl

With her sword in hand, all she could do was tell fortunes for people's amusement and perform sword dances. She never expected that the saying "one day in the mountains, a thousand years in the world below" could really be true. Hair and eyes in every color, and words she couldn't understand at all. What kind of demons and monsters had taken human form? All she wanted was to work, save money, earn her keep through performances, and then go home to spend the rest of her life with the snow atop the mountain, the cranes on the cliffs, and her master at the temple. Traveling the world was out of the question. But... people may plan, but Heaven decides. The girl thought as she stood with one hand forming a spell and the other gripping her sword, surrounded by a swarm of black clouds that had been drawn to her.
