Welcome Back to the 1990S

When Cheng Xiamo opened her eyes again, she found that she had returned to the past. The terrifying part was that her mother, a widow raising eight-year-old her alone, would be laid off in three months and remarried in six. Even more terrifying, it was August 31, 1993, and she was an elementary school student who hadn't done her summer homework. She remembered that in her previous life, she had cried and told her teacher that she had been too busy doing chores to finish her summer homework. Cheng XinxI, who still had some dignity, chose to stay up all night and do it rather than fake-cry. The good news was that an hour, a pen, and a lamp were all she needed to work a miracle on third-grade homework. The bad news was that she had escaped the hardship of studying in her previous life, but now she finally had to suffer through it. Theme: Respect yourself and work hard to live well
