The Canglong Military Academy was once one of the top ten military academies in the interstellar world. After suffering heavy casualties in the war half a century ago, it fell out of the top hundred. Its fortunes have declined ever since, and it has become a thoroughly mediocre academy.

After selling a batch of rare medicinal herbs, Shi Yaoning realized someone had their eye on her farm.

To avoid getting robbed, she decided to find herself some protection.

The Canglong Military Academy was on the verge of closing. It had a whole bunch of powerful instructors, but it was dirt poor.

So she quietly enrolled at Canglong Military Academy as an utterly ordinary agriculture student and watched how things unfolded.

The interstellar military academy rankings competition began, and Canglong Military Academy could barely scrape together enough competitors.

Spectators laughed. "This is what one of the former top ten military academies is like now? They're even dragging an agriculture student out to make up the numbers?"

On the field, Shi Yaoning single-handedly took out the enemy commander and won with ease.

In the top hundred round, the teams from various military academies were trapped in poisonous swamps and miasma in a primeval forest. Canglong Military Academy couldn't even produce a decent antidote.

The livestream comments were full of jeers. "You don't even have a pharmacist. Why show up just to make a joke of yourselves?"

Shi Yaoning made an antidote on the spot, enough to give everyone a top-tier dose.

In the finals, the poor Canglong Military Academy brought out battered mechas that had survived the battlefield.

The haters laughed wildly. "Does Canglong have some kind of junk-collecting fetish?"

During the competition, Shi Yaoning modified one into a 3S-grade mecha on the spot and wiped out the enemy mecha squadron in one fell swoop.

The entire audience: "Nice."
