Everyday Gossip in the 1970s

Bai Hongdou transmigrated to the 1970s, bringing along the spacious apartment she had just bought with a mortgage after years of hard work.

Before transmigrating, she had been single for years and had never even been in a relationship. After transmigrating, she was the daughter of the village brigade leader, engaged to a soldier, and would be going with him when they married.

At this point, even if Bai Hongdou wanted to back out, there was nothing she could do. Never mind, she might as well get married. Once she went with him to his post, he would be out during the day, and she could still shut the door and live her own quiet little life.

What she didn't know was that the world she'd transmigrated into was no simple place. There was a female lead who had transmigrated into a book on one side, and a reborn supporting female character on the other. Each of them was ambitious and determined to win the same man.

Oh, if you go by the amount of screen time, that man could be considered the male lead. But he had nothing to do with Bai Hongdou or the man she was about to marry. The married couple were just background characters, with a single line in the story.

One-line blurb: Enjoying the gossip and drama while living a quiet life in a period novel

1. A cozy, everyday family-life story. A background character enjoys the gossip and watches the female lead and supporting female character battle it out.

2. You could call it a food story, I guess. It's all about enjoying a happy little life.

3. More to come if I think of anything.

Theme: Hard work brings prosperity.
