“You saved my life, so I should give myself to you. Of course... you don't actually have to take me. Just let me stay at your place. I'm not gay, after all.”
One life-saving favor gets Lie Yun a huge villa and a job. He thinks it's a great deal. It would be even better if that kid would stop looking at him like he's an idiot.
“Kid, call me Uncle.”
“Get lost. Don't call me a kid.”
“Sure. Call me Uncle, and I'll stop calling you a kid.”
Lu Suo can't for the life of him figure out how a man only eleven years older than him has the nerve to make him call him Uncle. As a result, their daily life is complete chaos.
Lie Yun is a kid person. He likes having children around the house, and without even asking Lu Suo, he adopts a little boy. The only downside is that the little tyke knows way too much.
“Daddy, why won't you find me a mommy?”
“Uh, I...”
“If Daddy doesn't want to find me a mommy, does that mean he wants to find me a daddy?”
“I'm straight!”
Then one day, a bizarre romantic scandal breaks out at the Municipal Hospital. A man has been found hiding under the desk of Dr. Lu, an unmarried pulmonology resident who has no interest in women. The two of them even ended up in an intimate heap, and, most shocking of all, Lu Suo was the one underneath.
Lu Suo glares at the man sprawled on top of him. “Are you still lying on me because you want to lay an egg on me?”
“I can't help it. There wasn't enough room under your desk to hide.”
“Get lost.”
Later, the two become inseparable. The little tyke proudly tells everyone he meets, “That's my daddy, and that's my other daddy.”
A few things to know:
1. Overpowered veteran rogue top x aloof, kind, tsundere doctor bottom
2. My writing has its limits. Feel free to offer suggestions, but please don't flame me if it's not to your taste. All feedback is welcome.
3. Both the Nightless Anlin series and the Lost Star Trails series are set in Nanyong. Same-sex marriage is legal in Nanyong!
Theme: Staying true to your original aspirations takes tremendous courage too
Something just doesn't feel right, and I don't know where it is. I always think of the Seven Princesses on Campus novel series I read in junior high school.
