[Ancient-era ABO / Alpha who seems to be a substitute but is actually the true white moonlight / Alpha's corruption arc complete]
1.
Yin Xusheng was cold and heartless, a notorious tyrant. After seven years of war, he had conquered every direction, and his aggression as a Qianli was unmatched.
An emperor as lofty as him could never be with another Qianli.
Shang Yu knew all this. But a single glimpse years ago had stolen his heart, and he willingly went to the Southern Yin capital as a hostage from an enemy state.
Then...
He stumbled upon the secret that Yin Xusheng was actually a Kunjiang.
The heady scent of pheromones filled the secret chamber. The lofty tyrant curled up, his voice trembling, yet still haughty and imperious.
Shang Yu knew he should obey and leave. But seeing the corners of Yin Xusheng's eyes reddened, he was inexplicably moved to bend down and kiss him.
"At your service, Your Majesty."
Later, Shang Yu learned more.
He learned that Yin Xusheng wasn't truly cold or cruel. His reputation for brutality came from someone else drawing a blade on him first.
He learned that Yin Xusheng had a white moonlight who died young, and that he had waged seven years of war to clear that person's name.
He learned that Yin Xusheng carefully treasured that person's portrait and stubbornly buried an empty coffin with the rites of an empress, even though the body could never be found.
And he learned that the only reason he could get even a little of this man's attention was... that he looked eighty percent like the white moonlight.
2.
Everyone said that Shang Yu, emperor of Northern Shang, was a man of deep schemes and brilliant methods. As a prince, he had gone alone to Southern Yin as a hostage, enduring hardship and biding his time.
Then, one day, he raised an army, destroyed Yin, and restored his country.
To wipe away the humiliation of the past, he even used the phoenix consort's position to humiliate the former Southern Yin emperor, a Qianli.
But no one knew that years ago, when Shang Yu was still a hostage, he had once bent before Yin Xusheng and left a mark on him as though worshiping a god.
A devoted amnesiac Alpha in the beginning, corrupted Alpha later x a cold Omega beauty pretending to be an Alpha
[Reader's Guide]
1. Old-school melodramatic forced-marriage romance. The leads have eyes only for each other, in body and in heart.
2. Updates may be irregular near the ending.
3. Qianli = Alpha, Kunjiang = Omega, pheromone scent = pheromones. Everything is due to misunderstandings and ill fate; this is not angsty.
4. Warnings: Many truly old-school, absurdly over-the-top melodramatic plot points. My writing is limited, and the plot is completely outrageous. Neither lead is a good person, and they spend a lot of time at odds. I don't recommend buying the whole novel at once. If anything makes you uncomfortable, cut your losses and run. Don't keep reading, or you'll find it even harder to accept! It only gets more melodramatic!
My next novel: The Unfeeling Sword's White Moonlight
[The apparent substitute is actually the true white moonlight, in the receiving role]
Jun Zhusheng was born knowing he was cursed with a fate that brought calamity.
He caused his mother's death, brought about his brothers' deaths, and was blamed for the decline of the nation and the invasion of demons.
Though he was a prince, he was treated as less than the lowliest servant.
Only Chao Jin treated him differently.
Chao Jin was a sword cultivator whose mission was to exterminate demons. In the entire vast kingdom, he was the only one who didn't show Jun Zhu any hatred.
He taught Jun Zhu to read, gave him malt candy, and even visited him at night to sit with him on the palace wall and count the stars.
So even though Jun Zhu knew Chao Jin cultivated the unfeeling path, he still harbored a little unspoken, forbidden hope.
But when they reunited after Jun Zhu came of age, he discovered that Chao Jin's eyes were filled with his own brother, the one blessed by heaven.
- So can a sword cultivator of the unfeeling path fall in love?
Later, a demonic tide broke out, and his brother was possessed as well. Jun Zhu fought with all his strength to destroy the demons. Just as he was about to succeed, a sword beam cut across the sky. It wasn't there to destroy the demons. It pierced Jun Zhu through the heart.
- Yes, a sword cultivator of the unfeeling path can fall in love.
But the one he fell for was someone else, and Jun Zhu was just an insignificant substitute.
As he lay dying, Jun Zhu put a jade pendant back into Chao Jin's hand.
Chao Jin had given it to him when they parted years ago. Jun Zhu had treasured it for years, but now it was covered in blood that could never be wiped away.
He said, "I'm sorry. I can't return it to you in its original condition."
Then Jun Zhu overcame his tribulation, ascended to the Celestial Realm, and destroyed his own memories. From then on, everything in the mortal world was no more than a long dream.
All that remained was the unfeeling, desireless God of War from the Celestial Realm.
During a battle between immortals and demons, he pointed his sword at the supposedly invincible Demon Lord and attacked without mercy.
But the new ruler of the Demon Realm, a demon who had broken free of the unfeeling path, abruptly dropped all his defenses the instant he saw him.
And then...
He was pierced through the heart by a sword.
A sword cultivator who pretends to follow the unfeeling path but is actually a Demon Lord, in the attacking role x a free-spirited young god from the Celestial Realm, in the receiving role
[Reader's Guide]
1. Old-school, melodramatic fake-substitute romance with a groveling pursuit.
2. The leads have eyes only for each other. Everything is a misunderstanding.
Theme: When someone embraces the light with true love, the light will shine on them in turn, and a beautiful, loving society can come to be.
Alas, because it has been delayed for too long, I even think it would be good to go our separate ways like this. The time is passing by the intense love and hate, alas.
Waiting for the end of a few chapters is not enough, I have to he. Oh my god, you said you would he. I have been chasing him for so long just to see them resolve their misunderstanding and be happy together. A few chapters... I'm really scared, maybe it's the magic of time, no, how many years of regret will there be... Wuwuwuwu, I beg you to write more qwq
