Blurb One:
Xia Yao, a former CCG champion, is banned from competing in any esports events for three years after a fellow competitor falsely accuses her of match-fixing.
To support herself, Xia Yao starts streaming games.
By chance, she learns that Tianyu Games has just launched a full-dive game called Eternal Legend.
According to the official introduction, Eternal Legend has eight classes:
From Dragon-Tamer Mages, skilled at AOE attacks, to Earth Hunters, powerful in PVP;
From Greatsword Knights, who serve as tanks, to Iron Fist Brawlers, who deliver exhilarating combat.
The developers have pulled out all the stops to make sure every class gets equal treatment.
But in every game, there are always one or two classes that get pushed to the margins.
Xia Yao scrolls to the bottom of the class list. When she sees the aloof, beautiful character on the screen, she immediately waves her hand.
"All right, I've decided. You're the one."
She's going to be a bard!
Blurb Two:
The class players like least, the bard, has become the most useless class in the full-dive game Eternal Legend.
Nobody wants them in a party, they're looked down on in dungeons, and even solo quests take two or three deaths before they can succeed.
The bards across the server are in tears. How could they have been so blind as to choose this class?
Now all they want is to delete their accounts and start over, for crying out loud!
Then one day, players spot a video in the forum's general chat section.
In it, a female bard moves like a pro, chaining together skill after skill. Amid a burst of dazzling colors, the elite monster that new players claim is impossible to kill falls at her feet in just a few minutes.
The bards stare in disbelief, dumbfounded.
Other players click their tongues and shake their heads, insisting she must be cheating.
Then one day, a message blows up the world chat.
"That female bard just went into a dungeon! By herself!"
Everyone cries out in unison: "What the hell? How is that possible?!"
#Reader's Notes#
1. Plot-focused + leveling progression. The male lead only appears in the bonus chapters.
2. The first forty chapters feature idiotic villains and antagonists. Skip this if you don't enjoy seeing villains get humiliated.
3. Many of the settings are inspired by other works or are my own additions. Please don't treat them as reality.
4. This novel has no esports elements. You don't need to understand esports to enjoy it.
5. The origins of the game Eternal Legend will be explained later.
6. The Edgar Club's rule-breaking is a plot point that will be explained later.
New novel The Strongest Player in the Galaxy [Full-Dive] launching soon. Please add it to your collection:
In 1891, the massive full-dive game Gods descended upon the star systems.
Calling themselves gods, they enslaved all living beings.
The people of the human race in space could only survive by obeying completely. Disobedience meant immediate execution.
Xia Mo, a top physician, transmigrates into the body of a Star Official who has been banished to a remote town. The original owner is an ignorant, superstitious fraud who makes a living by swindling people.
The Star Official was once the most powerful class among humankind, but that's only a legend now. These days, working as a Star Official is considered a dead end, and most people in the profession resort to dishonest work.
To save up for equipment, Xia Mo finds out where the Star Official players gather and boldly declares, "Come with me. I guarantee I'll help you break through to your next class!"
The Star Officials burst out laughing. "Do you think we're stupid enough to fall for that?"
They drive her out for three whole blocks.
Xia Mo: Fine, then I'll just have to level up on my own.
One day, the gods come to select sacrificial offerings, and Xia Mo is chosen.
Everyone mourns her and sees her off with white funeral wreaths.
But before long, people hear rumors of a player named "Ink" who has fought her way from the wilderness all the way to the royal capital! The gods have suffered their first defeat!
The Star Officials who once mocked Xia Mo tremble. "What the hell? Isn't that the fraud Star Official we chased out for three blocks?"
Later, Xia Mo becomes the first top-tier Star Official to wield all twenty-eight lunar mansions, and slays the arrogant, invincible godfolk.
The entire server is shaken!
"What the hell? Star Officials are that powerful?!"
"Boss, do you still have room for one more follower?"
Under Xia Mo's pressure, the gods finally sign a peaceful cooperation treaty.
In an interview afterward, Xia Mo, having surpassed the limits of her class, says helplessly:
"At first, I just didn't want to die. Later, I didn't want the people who cared about me to die."
"More and more people started caring about me, so I decided I might as well go big."
Theme: Strive tirelessly to improve yourself
When I was a kid, I thought I would be able to play holographic games in 2020... So I could only hope for aliens (lost in thought)
I thought I could write a medium-length novel, but I didn't expect it to be finished so quickly.
It's good to watch. Although there is no emotional line, the story is fascinating and I will keep wanting to watch it. Unfortunately, it ends too quickly and I feel like I haven't seen enough.
The first porcupine on the list, unless this porcupine is the golden porcupine king, I don't really agree with it (x)
Do these eight hidden professions know each other and are both enemies and friends?
It's very interesting, the writing and plot are great, but the ending is too sudden. It seems that the plot has just entered the middle, and there is still hundreds of thousands of words of content, but it ends suddenly.
Indeed, everyone appeared in this section, but it didn't feel too confusing.
So Ecstasy Egg is really the male protagonist, right?
Sprinkle flowers??ヽ(°▽°)ノ?
Broom star? Hahaha this metaphor...
