Miss Po Is on Hiatus, Much to Everyone’s Delight!

The main story is complete. After Miss Poe misses out on first place in the World Detective Championship, she resolves to take back the title that should have been hers from that insufferable brat. So she spends six years honing her skills, then comes to Yokohama under the pretext of a [partnership]. But... Why is none of this going the way she imagined? How did she end up as that guy's exclusive writer? Who wants to write books for him and him alone?! Even as she says this, Miss Poe keeps turning in one new work after another. And the famous detective who claims “mystery novels are so boring” keeps accepting them, time and again. Looking at the two of them leaning their heads together in the corner, Karl shakes his head. He's the only reliable one left now. Blurb 2: Miss Poe, born into a distinguished family, is hard at work writing again today! Not really. Under the pretext of searching for inspiration, Miss Poe is using the oldest method of fortune-telling. One petal: Ranpo really does like me. Two petals: Ranpo doesn't like me. He only likes my ability. Three petals: Ranpo must like me, right? Four petals... An even number of petals, so Ranpo really doesn't like me. He only likes my ability!!! Her pen leaves a black dot on the page. Miss Poe gives up and closes the unfinished book. Why bother writing?! What's the point?! Her boyfriend only likes the books she writes, but doesn't seem to like her at all! Ranpo, sucking on a lollipop: ?! What nonsense! If Ranpo-sama didn't like Miss Poe, he wouldn't keep such a troublesome person by his side!
