Can a Long-Expired Yuri Ship Become Real?

Tang Jiezhi was once the leader of Fengdie, a popular girl group. After leaving the group, she vanished without a trace, and no one ever reported seeing her again. Her fans missed her, and the other members felt down, too. But Chi Xiao, one of the members, never mentioned her and seemed completely unaffected, until they happened to reunite two years later. The former idol was dressed simply when they met again: a white T-shirt and light blue jeans. Her clean, clear face leaped out of long-sealed memories, like a pebble dropped into water, sending ripples across the surface. Before she knew it, Chi Xiao had called out, "Tang Jiezhi." Tang Jiezhi looked up and saw the masked woman give her a faint smile, her peach-blossom eyes lingering on her. "You probably don't remember me." She nodded. "Chi Xiao. We were paired up as a CP." Then she added after a moment, "A business CP." Chi Xiao paused, her expression complicated. "Are you sure? ... I think you're the only one who actually saw it that way." Tang Jiezhi replied in a mild tone, "What else would it be?" Chi Xiao reached out, her burning hand covering Tang Jiezhi's cool palm. Her index finger secretly brushed Tang Jiezhi's wrist. The pulse there was steady and orderly, like a deep, unfathomable sea. Impossible to see through or reach the bottom of. Chi Xiao lowered her eyes, hiding her surging emotions. Until all the alcohol she'd borrowed stripped away the futility of pretending and tore off the skin of the perfect persona she was supposed to maintain. Drunk, Chi Xiao pressed her with question after question. "So tell me. Would a business CP fly abroad because you asked? Would a business CP check in on you and remember your period? Would a business CP secretly hold your hand in a corner of the set..." Her final words trembled: "Would a business CP raise a cat with you?" Tang Jiezhi seemed to consider this, her tone mild. "I suppose that did happen." She simply followed up with one question: "Then, is the cat still with you?" Chi Xiao's eyes stung, and her fingers trembled. She spoke, every word carrying the surging love she'd hidden beneath the spotlight, like a shadow: "Tang Jiezhi, you were my first love." The oars swept through the water, the moon sank, and the sea began to stir. It was the prelude to a raging storm. Updated daily! Also known as: My Dead Business CP Has Suddenly Started Attacking Me!
