The story is complete! Please add my upcoming story, Yesterday Is Dead, to your collection!
Blurb:
Old Master Huo is gravely ill and wants his beloved grandson, Huo Qingchi, to marry to bring him good fortune. Unfortunately, Huo Qingchi is physically disabled and has someone else in his heart.
Cen Jin, the unfortunate woman chosen to marry him, is perfectly calm about it.
Cen Jin: It doesn't matter where I eat or where I work. Might as well get married.
After the wedding, Cen Jin became a laughingstock among the wealthy ladies of North City. At banquets, everyone else walked arm in arm with their spouses, close and affectionate. Cen Jin alone followed behind Huo Qingchi, pushing his wheelchair like a full-time caretaker.
Later, Huo Qingchi's legs finally recovered, and the woman he had always loved became single again.
Three days later, Huo Qingchi asked for a divorce.
Cen Jin signed the divorce papers without a second thought and wished him all the best and a happy marriage.
Later, while chatting with friends about the terrible bosses they'd had, veteran wage slave Cen Jin sighed with feeling.
"They're all capitalists, but Huo Qingchi must be the boss every wage slave likes best. He was so generous. I really miss that."
In an unnoticed corner, a man in a black shirt furrowed his brow.
Not long afterward, when Huo Qingchi tried to become Cen Jin's "boss" again, Cen Jin sighed helplessly.
Cen Jin: I'm really sorry, Mr. Huo, but I just want to be on my own now.
A real stand-in story. The heroine is laid-back, so the one who gets hurt is probably the hero.
(Added 2021.8.20: I'm not changing the blurb, so no one can say I'm feeling guilty. The line above has always been there. In context, it's obvious that "laid-back" refers to the heroine's attitude toward the hero: she doesn't care about him, and his likes and dislikes don't affect her. In other ways, she's not laid-back at all, not one bit. She's an incredible fighter.
Also, this is a romance, and the hero has always been listed as a lead. I never changed that, and I never said it was a tragic ending. Surely I don't need to remind readers that no matter how much the heroine wants to be on her own, they'll end up together.)
Upcoming story, Yesterday Is Dead:
On the day rumors linked Ning Xiuyuan to a certain actress, Ning Sixing discovered she was pregnant.
She didn't care about either of those things.
After all, to Ning Xiuyuan, Ning Sixing was an enemy, the daughter of a murderer.
That day, Ning Sixing knelt before a Buddha statue and refused to rise.
Please, Buddha, help me leave this sea of suffering forever.
A young novice beside her struck up a conversation.
All things in the mortal world are part of spiritual cultivation. Buddha is merciful and will guide those with a destined connection.
Ning Sixing smiled silently.
Covered in sin, her heart full of worldly dust, could she really be someone with a destined connection?
On Ning Xiuyuan's birthday, Ning Sixing deliberately stepped in front of his car.
As her body was thrown into the air, Ning Sixing thought of the birds flying freely across the sky beyond the narrow window.
If Buddha will not save you, save yourself. The daughter of a murderer might still become a murderer herself.
But the person Ning Sixing killed was herself, along with the unborn child she had with Ning Xiuyuan.
***A melodramatic story. The hero runs away with the baby, then grovels to win his wife back.
Theme: Be the best version of yourself
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking, good-looking
Full of cuteness(??ω??)??
Awesome Read it in one sitting My wife has great ideas Keep up the good work
Congratulations on the completion, spread the flowers
Congratulations on the completion! Sprinkle flowers!
Wow, it's finished. Congratulations.
Even if it is a dream, it can be regarded as another kind of perfection for the second male lead.
Actually, I quite like this parallel episode.
There is no if, Si Zhong, it's not too late to look back now
Huo Laoer is the best boy. He is responsible for making money to support the family, and his sister is responsible for being as beautiful as a flower.
