Enraptured

The main story and all extras are complete. My new novel, We Have to Be Together, is now underway.

At thirteen, Yang Liushu first met Xiang Dongyang.

At nineteen, they met again. Soon after, rumors spread that Xiang Dongyang was keeping her.

As soon as the gossip started circulating around campus, Xiang Dongyang came forward to set the record straight.

Xiang Dongyang: She's my girlfriend. We're dating, like normal people. Thanks!

They dated for years, but marriage news never came. Some people mocked her, saying her dream of marrying into a wealthy family had fallen apart.

She couldn't be bothered to explain, but she remembered clearly what he said when she asked to break up: I'll do anything you want, except break up.

Before long, Xiang Dongyang's social media post earnestly asking for "the secret to a successful proposal" went viral.

Everyone thinks you're obsessed with me, that you love me to the bone.

The truth is, I feel the same way.

One-on-one, happy ending. The entertainment-industry portion comes in the middle and later parts.
