What a Coincidence, I’m a Crown Prince Too

My other novel, The Days I Was Forced to Live as a Hostage in an Enemy State, is now open for readers. Please add it to your collection...

Don't read this one. Click with caution. It's badly written, so don't read it!

Blurb:

Qin Ji: "I'm the Crown Prince."

Shu Ziqin: "What a coincidence. I'm the Crown Prince too."

Qin Ji: "I'll return the throne to you."

Shu Ziqin: "No need. What's mine is yours. We're one and the same. Here, this is the Black Feather Command, and these are 200,000 Black Iron soldiers. They're my dowry. They're all yours."

Qin Hao (Qin Ji's father): "Damn it, so after scheming for the throne and stealing the Black Feather Command twenty-two years ago, all I did was steal it for nothing?"

Shu Ziqin: "Hah."

At last, Crown Prince Qin Ji confesses his feelings to Shu Ziqin. "I love you."

Shu Ziqin freezes. "Uh, Your Highness, can we talk about this in a few days?"

Qin Ji nods. But that very night, Shu Ziqin escapes the capital and disappears without a trace in the southern borderlands.

Qin Ji: "..." ???

Feeling deceived, Qin Ji offers a reward of ten thousand taels of gold across the country for Shu Ziqin's capture. He refuses to believe he can't find that liar.

Seven years later, Shu Ziqin returns, but only because of the Crown Prince's wedding. "Your Highness, I have turned myself in. Could I have that ten thousand taels of gold?"

Qin Ji: "If you want me not to marry Commandery Princess Yunping, Shu Ziqin, you can offer yourself in my place."

Shu Ziqin grits her teeth and stamps her foot. "Fine!"

After that, the Crown Prince often catches a certain someone trying to escape through a window, under a wall, or over a rooftop.

Qin Ji: "Shu Ziqin, you dare run away!"

Shu Ziqin is utterly cowed. "I was just going out for some air, that's all. Your Highness doesn't need to station people to watch me everywhere, all the time."

Qin Ji: "Why can't you just walk out through the front gate?"

Shu Ziqin: "Right... I forgot."

One night, the Crown Prince angrily leads a group of soldiers to catch someone sneaking out of the city.

Qin Ji grits his teeth. "Shu Ziqin, if you ever try to run away in secret again, I'll kill every last person you're protecting! Then I'll drag you back and tie you to my side. I mean what I say!"

Shu Ziqin immediately caves. "I won't run. I won't run. I'll stay by the Crown Prince's side."

Shu Ziqin is perplexed. How did the little white rabbit she knew turn into a big wolfhound?
