Also known as: Hey, Where's My Washboard?

After the Lin family went bankrupt, Lin Ciyu went to end his arranged engagement with the prominent family he'd been promised to.

On his way home, he found a boy by the roadside, drenched by the rain.

The boy said he'd had a fight with his family and been kicked out, and had nowhere to go. He crouched in a corner, looking up at Lin Ciyu with pitiful eyes.

Feeling sorry for him, Lin Ciyu brought him home. The boy said his roommates didn't like him and he wanted to move out, but his family was poor and he couldn't afford rent. So Lin Ciyu let him stay at his place.

He even hired the boy at his cake shop and made sure to pay him an exceptionally high salary.

But Lin Ciyu noticed that the boy's gaze grew more and more peculiar with each passing day.

Then one day, Lin Ciyu's "ex-boyfriend" regretted their breakup and asked to get back together. The boy punched him and sent him running, then pinned Lin Ciyu against the door and rasped, "Lin Ciyu, I like you. I've liked you for five years."

Later, at a banquet, Lin Ciyu saw the richest man in the city and the son beside him. The son looked exactly like Lin Ciyu's boyfriend.

Only then did he learn that the so-called local specialties his boyfriend brought home were actually flown in specially from overseas.

That night, the boy knelt on a keyboard and a washboard at the same time. "Lin Ciyu, I was wrong. Please let me back into the bedroom."

Lu Yuncheng had been in love with a boy since high school, but he never dared to confess.

Later, at a banquet, he learned that the boy he loved was engaged to someone else. Lu Yuncheng was devastated. From then on, all he could do was watch Lin Ciyu from afar and love him in silence.

When the other family announced that the engagement to the Lin family was over, Lu Yuncheng showed up in front of Lin Ciyu at once, making himself look as pitiful as possible. Sure enough, Lin Ciyu took him home.
