Playing a Secret Identity in Another World

Reporter: Other departments take over bodies to save the world. So what exactly is the purpose of your department's body-swapping work?

A certain employee, who's been doing this job for who knows how many years, gives a strained smile and forces themself to do their job:

These days, saving the world isn't easy. As the saying goes, "Money isn't everything, but you can't do anything without it."

Working for love alone isn't realistic. People have to make a living. What doesn't require resources and funding these days? And you can't just take those things by force, can you? Our biggest client, the world's consciousness, can only pay us in the world's source energy. It's certainly high-grade... but energy alone can't solve every problem!

So the Space-Time Administration has to fend for itself. To win support and investment from the big-shot sponsors in those high-dimensional worlds, Department 06 of the Acting Division was born. Our department's style is completely out of place among all those big shots.

Our job is simple: take over someone else's body in another world and, well... we don't have to make a huge success of it, but at the very least, we have to meet our investor's requirements. If they're satisfied, we'll have funding for our next research project.

To put it in the style of a light novel title, it's "The Story of a Certain Anime Character Who Transmigrates to a Certain Other World." A direct dream crossover, isn't it? If you can think of it, we can do it.
