Her betrothed already had a concubine and a darling child. He reveled in soft-skinned beauties and shameless debauchery. Rong Han was nearing the age when he should be married, and there were no suitable unmarried families left in the capital. Though his family was loath to do so, they could only weep as they arranged his marriage.
Then, a perfect match fell from the heavens. An imperial edict betrothed Rong Han to the emperor and empress's legitimate son, the Prince Rui, younger brother to the crown prince. Yet Rong Han's family only wept harder, wishing they could defy the edict and marry him to his former betrothed instead.
The Prince Rui was perfect in looks and pedigree, but had one obvious flaw: he was an idiot!
Defying an imperial edict was a grave crime. On one side was his former betrothed, whom he would have to marry and become the stepmother to his legitimate child. On the other was the foolish Prince Rui, who smiled at him without a care in the world and gave him flowers.
Looking at the little flower his former husband had once given him, Rong Han, reborn, couldn't help but smile. He helped his mother up from the floor and softly comforted her. “Mother, things can't get any worse. How do you know this dead end isn't a road to life?”
On the auspicious wedding day, the imperial palace bestowed countless treasures upon them. Rong Han, the Prince Rui's bride, departed in splendid bridal attire from the Marquis of Dingyuan's residence. One hundred and eighty-eight bridal sedan loads, covered in red brocade, followed the eight-carrier wedding palanquin as the grand procession entered the Prince Rui's residence through its wide-open main gate.
Only longing is like the colors of spring, carrying you home with me, north or south of the Yangtze.
Later, Empress Rong governed for forty years, reforming domestic taxes and ruling the nation with an iron hand, never surrendering an inch of territory.
She restored the people's strength, governed according to their wishes, and laid a firm foundation for the Qin Dynasty, ushering in centuries of prosperity.
Later historians declared that Empress Rong's regency was no less significant than the opening of the Grand Canal. At every crucial turning point in history, she made the right decision. The people were prosperous, the granaries full, the barbarians submitted, and the realm was at peace.
Empress Rong and Emperor Jing shared a deep bond and remained devoted to each other throughout their lives, a love story passed down through the generations.

A few friendly notes: 1. The pairing is an intellectually disabled prince as the gong and a beautiful, aloof shou. The shou only wants someone to share a life with, and figures that whoever he marries is fine. Then he falls for him.
2. The gong is genuinely foolish, not pretending. He will not be cured in the story. His condition came from eating something bad and is not hereditary, so it won't affect their descendants. The gong becomes emperor, while the shou holds the real power.
3. The foolish gong may be an idiot, but he's clever in his own way, and his family background and intelligence are more than enough. His condition is not severe enough to be considered an illness, and he can act independently.

Here's a preview of my next novel, Widowed with a Hundred Billion.
Xiao Ting was a business magnate at the height of his power, a self-made man who built a business empire and had three sons and a daughter with an Omega. When he became terminally ill, none of his relatives was willing to donate to him.
Xiao Ting: What a bunch of ungrateful little brats!
His eldest son, Xiao Yue, breathed a sigh of relief at his memorial, lit incense, and promised that his death would heal their already shattered family. Xiao Ting: ??? All I did was make the same mistakes every man makes.
But his eldest son was right. After Xiao Ting died, the family got better every day. His two eldest sons inherited the company, and the business empire, on the verge of decline, rose from the ashes. His third son's studies finally improved, and even his little daughter's schizophrenia eased.
After Xiao Ting died, every illness vanished.
Even his ex-wife started going on dates, with a man introduced by their son.
Xiao Ting: ??? What is this, a world where the whole country has turned green?
His Omega, who had been estranged from him for years, confided sadly to a friend when they were alone: “He left, and took my heart with him. Now I can only live alone in a mansion worth hundreds of millions, lie on a gilded bed, drink million-yuan bottles of Romanee-Conti, and reminisce over the mountain of star coins in the vault.”
His friend consoled him: “Love isn't real, but star coins are. Scatter your ex-husband's ashes and there'll be plenty of young hunks for you.”
Spend the ex-husband's money, keep a young lover.
The widower sighed, then arranged another date with a nineteen-year-old Alpha, a handsome, musclebound mechanical engineering student at the Federal University.
The Alpha's message came back in a flash: On my way~ Mwah.
He's stealing my man right under my nose? Xiao Ting stamped his feet and fainted in a fit of rage. Before he could wake up, he heard the Omega beside him speak in a tenderness he hadn't heard in a long time: “Yue is such a lovely name.”
Xiao Ting turned his head in shock. An open dictionary lay on the bedside table. He stiffly turned his neck the other way. His Omega had one hand over his stomach, the soft light flattering his features. Beautiful as snow and frost, with an enchanting grace, he had lost none of his looks to time. He was smiling gently at Xiao Ting, with a long-lost trust and affection in his eyes.
A thunderous boom went off in Xiao Ting's head. This was when they had just had their first child, before he had made his fortune.
Back then, their love had been intense and tender.
Xiao Ting was completely dumbfounded...
The question was: Now that you know your children will all be ungrateful brats, and your former Omega will use the star coins he earned himself to keep a young lover, do you confront him right away or play it cool?
Xiao Ting pondered, lit a cigarette, and with trembling hands solemnly crowned himself the King of Cuckolds.

An ABO novel told from the gong's perspective. The gong and shou are a supporting couple in The Richest Man, and this story takes place afterward. The gong is a huge scumbag. His cheating and affairs directly cause the family's tragedy, yet he thinks he's a good person. The first seven or eight chapters should feature the gong seriously ill, then watching everything unfold as a ghost after his death. The rest is about his rebirth and making amends. It's angsty at first, then pure sweetness, a fluffy romance.

The only person who knows is his childhood friend, who puts it this way: “What good is a sword if you can't use it?”
Shang Hao finds it hard to talk about his condition. He's been single for years, until he meets the person he loves...
If I can't perform, I'll keep someone around to look at. Surely the person I'm keeping won't laugh at their benefactor for being impotent!
The gorgeous beauty he's keeping has a slim waist and long legs, and blushes when he smiles. President Shang falls in love. The old house catches fire, and the flames roar. On the night they share a bed, the beauty shyly says, “Actually, I'm a martial artist.”

A kept lover becomes true love. They each have their troubles, but they grow together. The story has medical treatment and a career arc for the shou.
A self-assured, composed gong whose old house is suddenly ablaze X a shou with incredible martial prowess and family burdens. A light, sweet romance~
A few friendly notes: 1. The shou has his reasons.
2. The gong will be cured, and he's very potent.
3. A fluffy modern romance, no children.

Theme: Actions reflect the heart, and people in love complement each other.
I feel normal. I don't have that stupid feeling like I only want you. I still look good in front 🤷
This dog emperor is still a feudal patriarch in modern times [question mark] No one has ever seen it, so he can make a conclusion based on just a few pieces of information 🤷
I finished reading this book and it has been gathering dust in my collection. I just found out that it is finished in the past few days. I read it from the beginning and I still like Demented Gu. As for the modern version, maybe I prefer the story of meeting again without the memories of two lives! I still have to say, thank you, the author, for finishing the work!
Don't bully Rong Rong
I finished reading it in one sitting. The author wrote it very well, but I felt that the modern extras were a bit draggy.
Hahahaha, my brother is still the enemy of Congjin 🐰
Spreading flowers [Bi Xin] is very beautiful [Orange Candy] I got it
Hahahahaha Congjin and Brother Gu are still at odds with Maimang as always
