To find inspiration and material for her new work, Xia Chengjin decides to try things out for herself. Only then does she discover that the movie star is a model of restraint and propriety in public, but a sweets-loving old-school cadre in private.
After his former assistant betrays him, Actor Xiao needs to choose a new assistant. He picks Xia Chengjin, whose qualifications seem completely unrelated to the job. Once they start spending time together, he discovers that she’s an excellent cook, and, most importantly, she has a crush on him.
During a livestream, the actor casually grabs a freshly made dessert, burns his hand, and gets caught by his new assistant sneaking a bite.

Xia Chengjin takes Xiao Xu’s burned finger and puts it in her mouth to cool it down. He loses interest in the livestream, pulls her onto the table, and kisses her passionately.
