A new year has begun, and the full novel is officially being rewritten from 2024 onward.

When I wrote this story, I didn't plan it out properly. Then I went through three major life changes, and I failed to do the story justice. I feel deeply ashamed and apologize to all my readers.

Starting January 1, 2024, I'm rewriting the entire novel. The story has changed a great deal. Aside from keeping the opening of Chapter One, I've basically rewritten everything after it. In short, it's a complete rewrite, and a massive undertaking.

I considered whether to rewrite the whole thing, and friends advised me to simply wrap it up and start a new novel. But after a lot of thought, I decided to take the rewrite route. This is my first story, after all, and I want it to be complete and engaging, with a proper beginning and ending. Even if it can't measure up to other people's work, I'll do my best to make it good and leave myself with no regrets.

I promise I'll see this story through to the end. I won't start another new novel until I've finished the two already underway in my profile.

I'm a little busy this week, so I'll revise one chapter every two days. Starting January 7, I'll work on one chapter a day, and once things get easier, I'll revise more each day.
