The Immortal Venerable Has a Demon Sword

1.

When Li Chongxun first became conscious, he knew he was no good sword.

He was a demonic sword made for killing, capable of stirring up the most vile desires in people's hearts and bringing out their ugliest sides.

Then someone took him out of the sword grave.

The one who carried him away was an unremarkable little immortal boy.

2.

Li Chongxun discovered something very interesting:

The righteous immortal path, so pure and noble, was worse than the demonic path.

His dear little master was tormented, treated like a dog in that vast sect, and made to wish he were dead.

Following his own nature, Li Chongxun thought wickedly:

Perfect. He would corrupt this little thing and lead him to forsake the immortal path. Then he could be the most carefree demonic sword of all.

But in the end, Li Chongxun never managed to make his wish come true.

His little master was impossible to corrupt and could not tell good from evil. None of Li Chongxun's patient coaxing worked. Instead, moved by compassion, he accidentally ended up with his sword body shattered and his demonic spirit destroyed.

As he lay dying, Li Chongxun cursed:

You ruined the demonic sword's glorious reputation. In my next life, I absolutely will not run into this little brat again.

3.

Li Chongxun died, but not entirely.

He became a wandering ghost.

When he opened his eyes again, his master was covered in bloody mud, gently holding his fragments.

Li Chongxun looked up and saw flames devouring everything behind him, with rivers of blood flowing across the land.

4.

Later, someone went from being a lonely, overlooked nobody to becoming an immortal revered by all.

In a place no one knew,

the immortal revered by ten thousand people tirelessly repaired a shattered demonic sword.

"A Xun, don't be afraid."

"I'll take you home soon."
