Wei Yan exhales a wisp of smoke that curls around them. As he bends down, she presses a light kiss to the scar beside his Adam's apple and smiles. "A little something in return."

The kidnapping for ransom left Li Mingze with a scar half a finger long beside his Adam's apple, but it did nothing to mar the beauty of his perfect profile.

The gesture pleases Li Mingze. He brushes his fingers over Wei Yan's red lips and smiles with polished courtesy. "I'll marry you."

He smudges the edges of her red lips, her snowy skin and vivid mouth a sight to behold.

"Yan Yan, from now on, you'll belong only to me," he says.
