I Can't Smell Your Pheromones

Meng Wang, supreme commander of the Lai De star system, has pheromones that smell of gunpowder. He's a walking war machine: brutal, cold, and utterly devoid of compassion.

One rainy day, he walked into a flower shop to buy a bunch of white chrysanthemums.

After waiting a long time with no response, he looked up and saw the shopkeeper sitting behind the glass counter, staring at him.

Meng Wang froze.

This was the person he wanted to bring the white chrysanthemums to visit.

A rainy day is a good day to pay respects to the dead.

Li Xing watched Meng Wang quietly. He couldn't smell the gunpowder on Meng Wang, couldn't answer his questions, and could barely make out what he looked like.

He was now just a Beta who was blind in one eye and had been poisoned into losing his voice...

Commander Meng is a lunatic.

Until one day, his subordinates saw Meng Wang pinning a Beta down in his resting room.

"Li Xing, look at me, and I won't go crazy."

"I can't see you."

To understand why Meng Wang hadn't gone off the rails all these years, you have to go back to the person he met on a desolate planet long ago.

No matter how crazy his thoughts became, he would instinctively remember the boy who had once reached out to him.

That boy didn't want him to go crazy, so he had to stay sane.

But later, he discovered that someone had used that boy as a test subject, turning the boy he had sworn to cherish and protect into a wretched state.

The madness in Meng Wang's mind could no longer be restrained.

Everyone who hurt Li Xing can die.
