Across the Vast Sea

"The far shore is justice, and this shore is evil, yet all things in the world drift in the chaotic sea between the two."

"Some try to reach the far shore, only to be swept back into the sea by the waves. Others set out to climb onto this shore, yet cannot bear to leave the light of the far shore behind."

Cheng Yang, deputy captain of the criminal investigation team at Yunyu City Public Security Bureau, is a brilliant investigator known for her intelligence. For no apparent reason, she volunteers to take on a murder case involving a firearm. As she investigates, her past and her secrets slowly come to light.

But who could have imagined that this formidable woman had once been a boy who, nineteen years ago, was swept onto this shore overnight, yet could not bear to leave the light of the far shore behind?
