The Scummy Alpha Lord of a Late White Moonlight

This story is about the Marshal and Adjutant from The Zerg's Scum Alpha Has Lost His Character. It takes place in a parallel world, where the adjutant is reborn.

The third year after the Marshal's death.

The Zerg system collapsed, and all the Zerg people entered a happy new era. Yet the Marshal, who had borne the burden and endured hardship for the Zerg, was nailed to history's pillar of shame alongside the violent, incompetent Zerg Emperor.

Everyone spat on him.

They hated this female Zerg who had aided a tyrant.

As though his death meant nothing.

Only his adjutant visited his grave every year.

No Zerg knew how tenderly this strange male Zerg gazed at the female Zerg in the photograph, or how gently he traced the words on his tombstone...

"How can I clear your name, my beloved Marshal?"

*I'm tired of writing a blurb, so here's the straightforward version.*

Ide had a white moonlight.

His white moonlight died, and his heart died with him that day.

He thought his heart would never beat again, until he opened his eyes and saw his white moonlight's face once more.

The Zerg God took pity on him and gave him a chance to be reborn.

But out of sheer spite, it made him transmigrate into the scummy male who had brutalized his white moonlight.

He wanted to save him. He wanted to clear his name.

But it was already too late.

It seemed the tragedy would happen all over again.

So he played the villain, shouldering all the blame. He watched his white moonlight gaze lovingly at the version of "himself" in this timeline, took his white moonlight's hand, and personally drove the sharp blade into his own heart.

His restraint, his greed, his jealousy of himself...

And the damp, hidden love beneath that sinful shell surged forth, breaking through every barrier.

His white moonlight's gaze turned cold, but his hand trembled as he asked who Ide really was.

Ide only smiled, stroked his cheek, and told him never to look back again.

At last, the course of history changed.

The Zerg God seemed to get bored again, and when Ide opened his eyes once more, he had become the version of "himself" who had just been rejected by his white moonlight.

He heard his white moonlight speak in a restrained, sorrowful voice:

There's someone hidden in my heart whom I cannot love.

Even though he's been dead for a long time.
