The Fostered Female

Noble, elegant, aloof gong x ferocious, love-starved little stray dog

Actually, a restrained, gentle guardian x the pitiful orphan of his "ex"

#Cold to everyone but me#

#At first, I resented the moon for shining on everyone but me. Later, I resented it for shining only on me.#

Older gong, who raises the shou, then devours him whole.

Sort of a replacement trope (though there's no replacement or ex in the story), mutual healing.

Trying a different flavor. I spent a long time debating between the gong's and shou's points of view. I'm not a stan for either side, and I enjoy all kinds of pairings. I probably like suave gongs. This is just for fun, and I'll pick whichever perspective is easier to write.

Theme: Love can heal old wounds.
