I Became Famous by Being a Couch Potato

After transmigrating into a book, Gu Yansheng becomes a minor character destined to be cannon fodder.

As the Gu family's adopted daughter, she is not only destined to take the heroine's place in marrying the villain and being tortured to death, but also has to join the heroine on a talent show, where she'll serve as a foil to make the heroine look good.

With no other choice, she can only hope to get eliminated soon, collect her money, and stay far away from the main characters.

But when the show starts, it's not the heroine's stunning debut that sets the audience buzzing. It's Gu Yansheng's outrageous behavior.

While everyone else practices dancing, she sleeps. While everyone else sings, she slacks off. When the others cry in the middle of the night because they can't get a move right, she holds an ice cream beside them and says that the most important thing is to be happy.

Other contestants come to learn singing, dancing, and rap. She comes to eat and drink for free, knit sweaters, build with blocks, and study. She does nothing she's supposed to, but has a pile of side projects.

Even her interviews are refreshingly different.

When asked why she joined the show:

The heroine: I want to challenge myself and become even better through the competition.

Gu Yansheng: I had no choice. They offered way too much money.

When asked what role she hopes to have in the group:

The heroine: I hope to challenge for the center position.

Gu Yansheng: Cheerleader.

When asked what she wants to say to the fans supporting her:

The heroine: Thank you for your support and faith in me. I won't let you down.

Gu Yansheng: Don't vote for me. I can recommend better contestants to you.

The audience: ???

How could they not vote for her? They absolutely had to!

Theme: Win people over with sincerity.
