Dream of the Red Chamber: Daiyu Can See Ghosts

New story: "A Dream of Red Mansions: Wang Xifeng Is Reborn"

Wang Xifeng died a humiliating death after Jia Lian divorced her and the servants of the Jia household subjected her to endless abuse. After she died, they wrapped her in a straw mat and carelessly tossed her into a mass grave!

She refused to accept her fate. Her resentment filled the underworld and caught the attention of a curious little dumpling. With a wave of its tiny hand, it sent her back to life, tucked safely inside her.

From then on, Jia Lian noticed that Xifeng had changed. She no longer got jealous, and even seemed eager to help him take in a whole group of concubines to wait on him.

Madam Wang noticed the change too. Her niece, who used to obey her in everything, now seemed to oppose her at every turn.

As for Wang Xifeng, apart from dealing with the people who had tormented her in her previous life, she had one big task: every day, she had to mediate disputes between the dumpling and Daiyu, who had been reincarnated alongside her, and play matchmaker for them both!

Note: Madam Wang and Shi Xiangyun will be portrayed negatively. Others will depend on the circumstances.

Daiyu's pairing is Jia Ding.

The female lead is Daiyu, and the male lead is Jia Qiyu.

Thank you for all your support, dears. The story will wrap up today, and it will go premium tomorrow!

Daiyu returns home to care for her gravely ill father, only to find a strange young man at his bedside. Her father takes the young man's hand and says with a smile, "This is your own brother!"

Daiyu thinks he must be a swindler trying to take advantage of her father's illness. If his presence can put her father at ease, she'll accept him, but later she discovers that he really is her brother, her very own brother who died shortly after birth, with no doubt about it.

From then on, Daiyu begins her many encounters with ghosts!

Note: There will probably be very little romance in this story, and there may be none at all.

The author is a Daiyu fan, so the story favors Daiyu.

Daiyu has no romantic pairing in this story.

Special note: Although this story has supernatural elements, it is a slow-paced slice-of-life story, full of everyday minutiae. I have no experience writing this kind of story, so I'll write as the ideas come to me. It isn't scary or thrilling at all, so please don't read it if that's not your thing. Thank you all for your support.
