After I Transmigrated, I Was Forced to Solve Cases

This novel will switch to paid chapters on June 19, starting with Chapter 27. Thank you, dear readers, for your support. [Plot Blurb] Qiu Jingsui transmigrates as the daughter of a minor official. She thinks she'll live out her days in peaceful comfort, but instead gets caught up in a string of murders targeting noble young women. To stay alive, Qiu Jingsui teams up with Lu Sihuai, the heir to the Duke of Weiguo, who has been secretly investigating the case. At the same time, she sets up a street stall to hone her portrait-drawing skills. At first, business is slow, and few people stop by. But then someone uses her drawing to find their missing child, reuniting their family. Another person commissions a portrait of a deceased loved one to preserve their memory. Soon, government offices are coming to her for criminal portraits, which help them solve many cold cases. With her portrait skills, Qiu Jingsui repeatedly advances investigations and becomes a renowned criminal sketch artist in the Great Jin Dynasty. But as she digs deeper, she gradually senses a vast conspiracy behind the murders of the noble young women, and all the clues seem to point toward her... [Blurb 2] Qiu Jingsui's stall displays its prices clearly: basic line art, five coins; coloring, thirty coins; no upper limit. One day, a certain Mr. Lu sits down in front of her and drops a gold ingot on the table. "Artist, please draw me a portrait." Qiu Jingsui asks with a perfectly straight face, "What will you be using it for, sir?" "To copy for someone who keeps saying she can't draw me," Mr. Lu replies coolly. [Reading Guide] 1.
